Is anyone using something like car seats for their home theater seating that can snap in and out of the floor? I can't think of why that would ever be handy, but maybe, right?

\:\) Ha ha, yeah, and I was thinking of seat belts, too, especially if I ever have four subwoofers.

Not sure they would be as comfortable as my lazy boys.

Yeah, I'm kind of scared of too much comfort. I fall asleep easily enough as it is.

As a racer, i'll tell your right now: race seats make great office chairs but are damned uncomfortable on long runs.

If you're gonna watch lord of the rings, grab some adjustable recaro's or knockoffs with minimal bolstering. They're pretty comfortable and would look damn cool.

But lazyboy Matinee sectionals or a reasonable facimilie are the way to go IMO.
