I am only 17 and I already have an Axiom Hometheater!! Which Includes M22ti,VP-150,EP-125 And for rears the M2ti.
I run the system on an old( bought in 1997) Harman Kardon AVR 55( which i plan to upgrade soon, any ideas for a receaver under a thousand canadian?)
I would like to thank axiom so that I can be the envy to ALL of my Friends!!! LOL Keep up the good work!!!
and i thought i was young at 21....

Yea, you just might be the youngest.

Did you buy it all yourself? If not, you're cheating!!!!

Wow! You've got a nice system! When I was 17, I owned an all-in-one sytem from Sears. Anyone remember those from the 80's...the turn table on top (which ruined all my records BTW!) with built in single tape player, along with those foot tall speakers? I think all my friends had something similar. I thought that was pretty cool at the time.

So, what kind of system do your parents have...or do you share your entertainment with them? If so, how lucky for them that they have a son to provide such great stuff for the household!

i didn't cheat! this is all my stuff, i don't live with mommy and daddy anymore

i have

Denon1602 - i know it's not amazing, i wish i had the money for gear from outlaw audio

M22Ti mains
VP150
QS4's
EP125
and M3Ti in the bedroom.. that laid back feeling they have makes 'em great for relaxing in bed!
Hey Ravi,
How's it going? Have you considered a cold shower?

CAV104
Jim

why take a cold shower when you have M3Ti's in your bedroom?!?! That would completely negate the reason for them being there!

But Jim, if you look at Ravi's post in Technical Questions you'll see that you've given him a good idea.
ravi, you goof!

when sonicfox was talking about parents and the sound system, I believe she was responding to Sean!!!

sonicfox: There were SO many of those "all in one" systems! When I was in high school, I bought a Panasonic "all in one" am/fm cassette unit. I thought it was pretty cool, and combined with a cheap Dual turntable, I was in 7th heaven! WOW have times changed!

Randyman
Nice system for only being 17, I also would like to know how you managed it.

Going back in time to when I was 17 I think I had a "Sears special", it was an all in one system by Seabreeze it had the turntable on the top and a glass lid, what could be cooler? LOL.

that was just after fire was discovered.
Randyman,

yeah I figured after a bit. Oh well.

I still want to put speakers in my bathroom now.
Hey Ravi,
A couple of things to consider. 1) Humidity, 2) The possibility of condensation forming on the interior of the speaker cabinet and on the back side of the aluminum cones as well as the motors themselves.

CAV104
CAV,

Just about two minutes with the old hair dryer pointed into the "port hole" should take care of that potential problem (heh heh)

Rman
Man if you are 17 and you can afford all that you can probably afford to blow 2k on a high powered receiver ! Look into some Rotel, Onkyo, H&K too Maybe even Marantz

Hey,
And yes I did buy all of my gear, and yes it was very tight.
I got my self a summer job in the summer of 2001 and made 2500$ (canadian) so i thought i would buy a new set of speakers and that was the M22ti non se and that what started it!
