Best company ever... seriously. I auditioned my setup and convinced a friend to go Axiom instead of Paradigm. He's in love with his Axiom setup and told them that he heard them at my place. I just got a commision check in the mail today and wanted to thank the folks at Axiom. I can't believe there could possibly be a better company out there, in any industry.

Terrific, and from others around here not surprising. Axiom is top-notch in customer service and product. Thanks for sharing.

My understanding is that if you arrange an Axiom product demo for someone who ends up buying Axioms, and if they mention you, and if Axiom can find you (always a challenge since we seem to keep moving around), they will send you a cheque for a few percent of the purchase price.
They're not trying to set up dealers/reps or anything, it's supposed to be more of a nice "thank you" for offering the demo.

>>And if you're in the U.S. they'll send you a check (you darn Canadians, you). So yesterday we're all sitting around the table making plans to support a couple of prospective new customers. One of the issues is always determining what language the support interactions will use, and making sure we have people in place who can work effectively in the language(s) of choice. The customers in Taiwan, Germany and Canada were no problem. The hardest was a company in New York, since none of our engineering people could understand what they were saying. We decided to go ahead, on the grounds that email and fax communication would work even if verbal communication was an apparent non-starter

Funny story! I can empathize, having grown up in Georgia and dealing with regional dialects. Reminds me of an old Brett Butler routine about Noo Yawkers, where one of them says, "Youse frum da Sowf? Youse people always sound so stoopid when yoo tawk!"

The other one that constantly amuses Canadians is ordering a drink in the South, where the question "y'all want ass with that ?" inevitably follows.

Hello Does anyone know where this demo or "audition" referral policy is posted. I would love to get a check back. I have seen different things posted, this post mentions a check, I have heard of getting "Axiom bucks". I am also wondering what % of the sale is applied ? I guess I am looking for a link on the website. Over the holidays I auditioned my system for my brother, at his house. His room is larger than mine, but my system did ok. I woulda sold him mine, but he is going to get something larger. I did sell him my old receiver and got me a denon 2807. got it from magnolia audio/video inside best buy. 30 days to return it, 18 months same as cash. %5 under list price plus the reward zone points, which should come to another $40-50 savings. one note about the denon 2807. My brothers Sony tv , KDF60XS955 , did not support hdcp via hdmi, so hdmi output was disabled to the tv. My newer toshiba tv , 32HL95 , supports hdcp, so I am good to go. Happy New Year Randy Quote:

Randy, I don't believe there is an actual web page that describes the deal. Basically, the person who purchases the Axioms needs to mention your name when placing an order. You will then receive a referral check of 5% of the purchase price. If your friend forgets, you can send a PM or email to Noreen and she will confirm and take care of the referral.
Pretty simple.

The bad thing is when you tell someone that if they buy axioms and mention your name that you will get a commision. Perhaps it has some weight on how much you have "sold" them to said person.

Thanks for the reply, that's the info I was looking for. I think my brother is going to get an epic 60 350, but upgrading the center to a vp150. his room is 4700 Sq feet. He considers me his audio expert, so that shows how much he knows I have told him to call in and mention that I auditioned my setup when he orders, now he just has to pull the trigger. He'll probably procrastinate and 3 months later ask me what he had decided, but I dont wanna pressure him. It was a fair amount of work hauling it all over to his house, but great to hear my speakers in a larger room. Either way, check or axiom bucks, I appreciate the gesture from axiom. I called today and had to leave a message and got a return call within minutes. Thank you. My fear is axiom bucks in the amount of a down payment for an EP500 would paralyze my mind until such EP500 was realized I'd probably have to get some tee shirts with it instead to ward off above mentioned paralysis. I already got a denom 2807 to work off. Speaking of which, its time to move all the "American girl doll" and "bratz" stuff out of the living room floor, and get things back jammin round here Randy

So, Randy, you did tell Noreen that I was the one who finally convinced you to buy M80s and the EP600, right???

well, no I forgot about that , sorry. but now that i think about it, that's really too much Axiom for my small room. Do you think you could hold on to them for me for a couple years, till I get a larger place ? seriously, my bro hasnt pulled the trigger yet. talked to him last night, and he didnt volunteer anything one way or another. I asked him to call Axiom when he places his order to let them know I auditioned my setup for him. Maybe he will get his stuff and decide he'd rather have my M22/EP175, and we can do a swap last night i did order some hdmi cables, the Avia guide DVD, and a video card for the computer with a component out adapter. oh and an "american girl" pony for my daughters birthday. My credit card melted in half from overuse I really gotta redo the autosetup on my denon 2807. it set my M22 as large. My room is small, 12X14, and my front speakers are only 40" apart( on each side of the tv stand). my setup sounded better in my bro's larger room, which is really 4700 cubic feet, when i think i said 4700 sq feet earlier. well my holiday is winding down, kids go back home tommorow, and "breaks over back on my head" next week. These days I think you also need to be part of the "Axiom Owners Club". Not sure though...

Hello, I dont remember exactly how I got in the club. It has a different username/password than the forums. Maybe I got an email when I signed up for the monthly newsletter?? I'd call axiom to find out. When I called last time I had to leave a message, but got a callback within minutes, which was very pleasing. On a related note, my brother hasnt pulled the trigger yet. I was over there on Sat to watch the Colts game, and he has moved his tv around and doesnt know if he wants floorstanding or bookshelf mains. I told him to get something larger than what i had, and I would gladly exchange him and pay the difference if necessary He did take the time to hook my old entry level Yamaha up, so his squirrelcage is still spinning. I asked Axiom and got this reply:
"Hi Robb:
The Axiom Owner’s Club membership is by invitation only. Axiom sends invitations (by e-mail) approximately every 6 months. The initial mailing was done August 2006. We expect to do another mailing around the end of February. As long as you have completed your 30 day trial period have not returned your speakers during that time, you will receive an invitation by e-mail.
Enjoy the speakers.
Kind regards,
Andrea Woudstra
