Will you be ordering the M60's as well since you have a 30 day money back guarantee? It'd be interesting to hear your side by side comparison if you do. I've listented to the Monitor Audio S10's and Gold Series.
I've compared the S8's and S10's with the Axiom M80's within a day of each other (didn't enjoy the M60's as much as the M80's). I find that the M80's have tighter bass and better detail. Do bear in mind though that I didn't have them side by side. The listening rooms they were in could have also contributed to my findings.

I got an advice to order m22s instead for comparison with S6 - they have the same treble and midrange character as m60s (which is the most important parameter for me since I have hardwood floor and not too much furniture in the designated room) but less hassle with shipping.

Have you seen the prices for the SFX suround speaker for the MA silver line! It's like $1000 US for a pair! I think I'd go with the QS8's and a pair of MA's for mains. What do you think Chesseroo?

Either MA or Axiom would make excellent mains but by all means, Axiom is the hands down winner in the surround category.
I would have no problems matching the Axiom and MA speakers esp. if it is just surrounds.
