Yea, I could move the AV stuff to the top shelf and put the speakers there. The only worry I would have is that the depth of the cub is 22 inches. Wouldn't that make the speakers sound boomy or something, with a little box chamber for the sound to bounce around in?

It may just enhance the bass. I think it would be a stretch to get M22s to sound boomy.

Yeah, why wouldn't you move the AV gear to under the TV, place the CC above the tv, and tuck some M22's on the shelves to either side of the tv?
