Hello, I'm thinking seriously about purchasing your M3Ti and I have a couple of questions regarding those. First, if I were to eventually pair them with the EP125 sub, will the sound be quite similar to your floorstanders? If not, how will the sound differ? Second, do your recommend configuring a sub with the M3s, and will it degrade the sound at all?

Lastly, how do the M3s differ from the M22s musically? Thanks a lot!
Michael

The M3Tis work very well with a sub. The sub will give them all of the bass of the floor standing models and then some. The sub will not have any effect on the performance of the M3s other than to improve the low frequency reproduction. As far as differences between the M3s and M22s they are fairly similar sounding products. The M22s will give you better power handling and play louder cleaner. Mid range definition will also be slightly better with the M22s because of the better off axis amplitude response.

Are both 5.25" drivers crossed over at 2500 hz?

In the M22 the two 5 1/4" woofers run the same frequencies. Both are crossed over at 3,500 Hz.
