Sir Paul McCartney in Salt Lake City, Utah 7/13/2010
It was his first ever visit to Utah and he put on one fantastic show. He told stories of Ringo, George, and John, as well as Hendrix and Clapton. He ended a song with an instrumental 'Foxy Lady' jam. For a guy that is 68 he looked, acted, and sounded excellent. I'd say he acted 20 years or more younger while running and jumping around the stage. It certainly was a very high energy performance. I was very surprised when they broke into playing 'Helter Skelter'.
He played and sang with boundless energy for over 2 and 1/2 hours. Just look at the 37+ songs in the setlist (bottom of post). There were no breaks for the main set. He played right through. And the only break he took between encores was no longer than 1 minute each! He just kept on going.
It was a fantastic show, and well worth the price of admission. Go to any of his shows if you have the chance, even if it is the cheap seats.
