I am trying to make a DVD that can be played on a DVD player. I have an .mpg file that I would like to add chapters to and burn that onto a DVD so that it can be played on a DVD player.

THe big thing here is I need to be able to add chapters/markers so people can skip to different parts of the DVD.

Any freeware you guys recommend?

If you’re using Vista I think you can use Windows Movie Maker to create separate files for each chapter and then put them all together in one DVD with Windows DVD maker. Never done it myself so I don’t know how much of a pain Micro Soft makes this.
