My son has a boxed Cowboy Bebop set and I've watched a few. I agree that the English voice work is good, and I enjoyed the look and feel of it. A lot of people compare it to Firefly, which definitely got me interested. We're big Firefly fans here - we even play the game.

Shane Yeah, "Firefly" is a show I wish lasted longer than one season.

Well, heck, if it's like Firefly, I may have to check it out.

Tonight I watched "The Virgin Suicides" by Sofia Coppola. There is a general sense of unease and creepiness permeating through this movie. Doesn't hit you over the head, but it sneaks up on you well after you're done watching it.
Like "Lost in Translation" her movies seem to communicate on an overt level. I really enjoy movies like this--they don't hit you over the head with a message or moral, but rely on what's not said to tell the underlying story.

Like "Lost in Translation" her movies seem to communicate on an overt level. So much for proofreading. I meant the exact opposite.
