David - the mic thing is a bit tricky. You have to set it up under the settings menu to pair it to the PS3. Then, (the step I always missed), you also have to set it up under "chat" (one of the menu options to the far right of the menu bar in the PS3). From that menu, you have to go into some sort of settings menu and select the Bluetooth headset you just paired as the mic device for chat. From that point in, it should work auto-magically every time it's turned on.

yeah, I paired it to the PS3 but then I never did the second step...

However it appeared to be working a little because My sackboy in LBP would lipsync when I spoke... never heard anyoen else speak or got confirmation that they heard me though.

The mic I have is a crappy one that came for free with my GF's phone... I am thinking about buying the official PS3 one that comes bundled with SOCOM for $60.

Can you use any BT headset? If so, I might try my Plantronics one.

yes, any old BT headset will do. follow the directions in the manual on how to pair the device with the PS3

I tried the Mirror's Edge demo on the PS3 tonight. It was pretty cool. I like the graphics, and the feel of the gameplay is cool when you can actually pull off the moves. I have to admit my playing was pathetic and took multiple attempts at most parts. I'm just not the player I used to be.

Anybody been playing Fallout 3. I am currently working on escorting Dr. Li and company to saftey from the enclave. This game is so awesome.
