When I started that thread to let others know it was on the History Channel over that weekend, I was pretty excited.

Unfortunately, it was not Hi-Def do I deleted them all... but not before watching 15 minutes of the first episode to ensure that I'd like it on BD some day! \:\)

I started the first part of Band of Brothers, but after 46 minutes my sister called to remind me about Law & Order, so I'm watching that now.

I just watched 3 minutes of Das Boot, just to test the Netflix streaming player. It's not bad, not great. I need a faster connection. Boo, AT&T!

No, Ken, "Das Boot" is great great. You'll be hard-pressed to find a better submarine movie. Give it some time. It's not just a great submarine movie, it's a great war movie, or miniseries, I should say.
