Just received an email back from Noreen, she states, sorry for the delay, ep800 should ship by the end of January. This goes well beyond what Hofstader's Law had led me to believe!

Wow, by the end of January? I didn't really want to be right about yet another new estimate.

Yes right now it sucks to be you [and me, and let's not forget Jason/myrison if he hasn't already gotten fed up and canceled his order]. Here's to our luck changing real soon (and hopefully not a whole lot later). I betcha' we'll be pretty happy in the long run, O wait, I have a history of betting on the dark horse--Never mind!

The waiting sucks, yeah, but I'm not to the point of asking for my money back. It's still a compelling enough product that I'm not considering other options, and the preorder price is the other reason I wouldn't want to back out. But yeah, it will be nice when I can finally be tempted to take a sick day or two.

I'm still here... just decided to swallow my bitterness about the wait for awhile as I'm sure people were sick of hearing me whine.

Does anyone have a review on the EP800? I was about to buy either an SVS PB13 Ultra or Paradigm SUB-15, then noticed that the EP 900 is out so I'm considering one of those.
