Word on the street is that you had a SO, though. You and Tom weren't just being SOBs, were you? Does she really allow you to chop video game wood all night? I suppose if she did control whether or not you chop video game wood, it would be symbolic of another type of wood being chopped.

No, we needed many more beers before we ventured into the SOB realm!

*sigh* And, no, I have to chop wood when she is NOT around. . . .

Seriously, though, way to go on being tethered in some manner. I have supreme control over my free time, but something tells me I'd be happier if an external force kept me in check some of the time.

The good news is that without TV at my place we do a lot of music listening!! Although, she can't tell the difference between my two channel set up vs. her car stereo. . . again *sigh*

I played a little bit of Gears of War 2 just so it didn't feel neglected. I played some more of Fallout 3 last night, but it's depressing me how hard I'm finding it to make my way through the early parts of the game. I love the ambient sound effects and music, though. Gears of War 2 looks like it will be fun as well, though it would be more fun to play through with someone else.

Now I should go try Fable II and see about this wood I keep hearing about.
