I saw Paranormal Activity. It had its scary moments particularly the last 10 to 15 minutes. I'd wait for the disc release, though. You can pretty much fast-forward through all but the bedroom scenes and the ending.
I guess it resembles a porno in that way.

Watched Road to Perdition last night. I found the movie moved along too slowly for me but there was one scene that really wowed me audio wise. When Tom Hanks goes through the club to deliver the 'letter' to the club owner you can hear the band playing muffled through the walls. The ambient noise and the muffled bass effect was incredible. It sounded EXACTLY like there was a party going on in an apartment next to me. Which is, of course, impossible unless some gophers have built a new pad in the ground beside my basement and brought in some kick butt HT gear.
It was so realistic I replayed the scene several times until my wife got annoyed and we moved on.

Did she grab the remote from you and hide it?

Actually, she grabbed the remote and, in a huff, walked out the door.....
into the party......

Watched the new FX show the League, about fantasy football. That was pretty funny. If you like Modern Family (which I think is HILARIOUS), you'll like this one.
