Yeah, I can see where you're coming from. Artistically, it's not in the same league as Diablo, and the story is nothing special (so far--I have more to play still, but I'm doubting it will turn into anything amazing). The gameplay also doesn't blaze any trails, but it's still the sort of gameplay I get into rather easily.

I've been going back and forth between modern warfare2 and forza 3. I painted up a 2010 Camaro SS to look like bumblebee on transformers2. The design is complete with autobot symbol and all. I put the design on the forza storefront and am raking in about 20,000 per day (nothing compared to some of those crazy cool designs on the storefront.)

Nevertheless, it is nice making little cash to add to the amount you make when winning races.

I've been playing or attempting to play Demons Souls on the ps3, great game but not your normal easy RPG.

I saw a commercial for Demon Souls and thought it looked good, but heard it was hard as well. I'd be interested in more of your feedback as you continue to play.

Has anyone tried Left 4 Dead 2? It's a must if you enjoyed the first.

Valve improved on every aspect of the original. The new Special Infected help to prevent players from camping, making the game more difficult and requiring players to work together as a team to survive.

I've played four out of the five campaigns available, and enjoyed each one. My personal favorites are Dark Carnival and Hard Rain.

Deeper into DragonAge now and still very impressed with the storyline. NPC interactions are well thought out instead of just plot pushers written as a side project by the building janitors who barely speak English, like in some games.

I got a great kick out of a Dwarven guard who was deciding weather or not my party or the enemies would be allowed access to the great underground Dwarven City. Something along the line of, "I don't care if the lot of ya tear each other to pieces, but take it off my stone steps."

I got my copy of Dragon Age: Origins for the PC today. I get the feeling it will build into a strong story like Mass Effect did, but it's also obvious it will be just as slow. The pace is the only problem I have with Bioware games. The conversations always seem to take too long. It's pretty, though, and I'm sure I'll like leveling up. I'm only up to level 3 at this point.

While I don't like how long the conversations take and how they slow down progress, I do have to laugh every time I talk after a battle and everyone's covered in blood.

Interesting, I don't find the pace slow at all for an RPG. But then again, I'm an old school RPGer. It's all faster than pen and paper.

I just finished the intervention in the civil unrest to name a new Dwarven king. It was a great side story with lots of ethical choices to be made to determine the outcome. Tough boss fights though. it was the first time I had to use the pause button a lot to rethink strategy.
