Probably, but you'd have to count all of the time they were together BEFORE they had a record deal.

The Descendents, Blondie, Agent Orange, The Misfits, D-A-D, Beastie Boys, Red Hot Chili Peppers... that's all I can think of off hand who have either gotten better, or not slipped too much over 15 years.

I don't think they're necessarily better - it's hard to top Moving Pictures - but Rush has turned out good stuff between their 15th and 30th birthdays.

I would disagree with Blondie - all their good stuff was within the first 6 years they hit the scene.

Agree. Prices seem to remain static on game consoles.

Slightly off topic but maybe relevant to getting service after the purchase. Anybody else hearing rumors of their Future Shop closing down?

Remember, I said rumors. I have no idea on the legitimacy of this.

It looks like Amazon is doing deals on PS3 games today.

I can't really agree... Blondie, Parallel Lines and Eat to the Beat were really good, Plastic Letters and Autoamerican (except Rapture and Suzy and Jeffrey) were pretty weak IMO. And The Hunter was a series of 10 or so B-sides to War Child.

The two new albums have been good... No Exit and The Curse Of Blondie aren't just "401K" albums.

I'm a much bigger fan of them than the "fusion jazz" she was doing with the Jazz Passengers.

I have to disagree with the Chili Peppers. They've been downhill ever since Blood Sugar Sex Magic.

No prob. It's received great reviews and even though I have a big game backlog, I figured what the heck.

Everyone but me likes that album. On a few occasions, I've nearly given away my copy of BSSM. Standout albums for me are Freaky Styley, Mother's Milk, Californication and Stadium Arcadium. I own BSSM, but would probably give it away (groan) to anyone that asked for it.

After that stinker, I refused to buy One Hot Minute (and don't think I missed anything), bought Californication (mostly because I know one of the engineers on it) and liked it, skipped By The Way as a ho-hum release, and own Stadium Arcadium, which I think both discs are solid on.

To each their own.

No, you didn't miss much, as I bought One Hot Minute and didn't like it. Most of the singles I've heard on the radio since don't do anything for me, with the exception of the Love is like a roller coaster song, mostly because I always think of Beavis and Butthead doing their little dance to it and it makes me laugh.
