Watched my
Inception Blu-ray today. Some nice low bass moments. Which is worrying me. I also got the
Pulse Blu-ray simply for the scene at the end with the waves of bass (still haven't watched the rest of the movie), and the extreme low bass is making something rattle. So far I can't decide if it's the subs themselves or stuff near the subs. Anyway, the sound was there, though to a lesser extent, with
Inception, and these two are the first movies I've watched that have flushed out this rattling.
I've also watched some of both Imogen Heap's
Everything In-Between: The Story of Ellipse and
Lang Lang: Live in Vienna. Imogen Heap seems to be a very determined and upbeat person. I'll have to watch the rest since it hasn't gotten too deep into the music yet.
Lang Lang is a goofball when he's playing piano. He could be enjoying it a little too much. Ha ha.
But yeah, I think any future classical purchases by me are going to be concert Blu-rays. It helps me appreciate the music more when I can actually see it being performed, as opposed to simply listening.
