I saw that Regina was on the soundtrack album twice. I've heard good things about the movie. I'll have to watch it sometime. I like Zooey Deschanel, but I kind of hate Joseph Gordon-Levitt after having to see him too many times with bad hair on that show I didn't like. And there's something about his face that I just want to punch. But I'm sure he's really a nice guy.

That's funny - I was meaning to post in this thread about watching that movie. There were several good songs in it, and I recognized Feist. I thought I recognized Regina, too - her voice isn't as distinctive as Feist for me to be sure it was her at first. Anyway, I actually said to my wife, "This movie has lots of music CV will like." So you're a household name at Medic8r Manor.

I give the movie a B or B+, pretty entertaining story, nicely done.

Oh, yeah, Feist was on the soundtrack, too.

I finished the first season of Pushing Daisies. I liked it all right, but it's not the TV series I want to be buried with. I do like the faces of two two main characters, though.

I'm currently watching the first episode of Better Off Ted. I love when Portia de Rossi says "anything." Her odd pronunciation of that word brings back Arrested Development.

I spent the day watching “Last Exile.” It’s a 27 episode series on 7 disks each episode running 20 minutes if you skip the intros, previews and endings. I really liked this story. Starts off simple and builds in complexity with the story always changing and evolving keeping me so interested it was easy to watch in one sitting. AnimeNewsNetwork gives it an “A” and T.H.E.M Anime Reviews gives it 5/5 stars. Here read for yourselves.

I have that to watch, but I haven't made time for it. I'll have to do that soon.

My wife watches that regularly. The times I've seen it, I've liked it.

My wife and I have been watching Freaks & Geeks. Such a fantastic show. Too bad it was only on for one season. \:\(

Watched District 9 last night. Excellent film. I like the idea that the main character is less than perfect and mostly seems motivated by his own self interest even if he does the right thing in the end. His all too human failings make the film much more 'believable'.

The alien portrayal is also much more interesting than the usual super enlightened or super evil technically advanced race.

I would still rate Blade Runner or AI as more complete scifi, but this one is up there.

About time! Yeah, I'd still put that show at the top of my favorites. How many episodes do you have left?
