Guys, this is the lamest thread on the entire board. What next? What color is your belly button lint? I think you should create a poll. I bet no other audio forums have a “What Colour is Your Belly Button Lint” poll. What will really be funny is logging in late at night and seeing a bunch of lurkers reading it. Ever look at the thread being checked out sometimes. Makes me sort of scratch my head wondering. . . .

I played just the first little bit of Mass Effect 2. Pretty cool. I just need to be like Dean and get a projector and hook my computer up to it so I can get the full experience.

Strangely enough, I've been playing a lot of emulated Atari 2600 games lately.
A buddy of mine fulfilled his childhood dream of writing a game for the 2600 this fall, I helped out a bit in debugging (though my 650x assembler knowledge has really left me) but mainly in creating a faux-manual for the game in the style of the old manuals I knew and loved.
I guess one more thing we can both strike off our "bucket lists".

Why did you have to post this Charles. I managed to stay ignorant of it’s release date so I wouldn’t have to resist going out and buying it. Damm you! I’ve got a three day weekend coming up. Must resist. . . .

I was ignorant of its release date until yesterday, and then Steam had to entice me.

None!! I'm pretty sure the Bluray diode on my PS3 just died. It will play DVDs fine but refuse to even acknowledge a game or BR movie is loaded.
So far I've tried lightly blowing some canned air in there to hopefully dislodge any dust or a cat hair that might have entered, performed a system restore and threatened it with a slow painful torture of playing Celine Dion CDs until it screams to be allowed to die. No luck so far.
I'm hesitant to do a total hard drive reformat as some people claim have fixed software glitches. I just can't see that doing much more that the system restore did except make me lose all my game data. Yes, i have done a backup but I'm pretty much convinced the diode is dead as they are now showing to be prone to failure.
It's one of the SACD playing 80 GB models so it might be worth the cost to send it to Sony for repair. I see replacement parts on ebay but I'm skeptical that I'd get a working part.
With great power comes Awesome irresponsibility.

I need to dig out my 2600 again. I loved it when I got it, but then tried to playu Pacman and became disenchanted. Pitfall II didn't help, either. It's an awesome game, but incredibly difficult.

I got Mass Effect 2 yesterday, haven't had much time to play, but so far it's pretty cool.
A computer once beat me at chess, but it was no match for me at kick boxing.

More Mass Effect 2, just to annoy Dean. Don’t worry it worked you annoyed me enough that I bought it Thursday and started playing it today. So far I’m liking it better than the first one and that was probably my favorite role-play computer game ever. So far I’m really liking not having to drive that Mako around, though I did rather like shooting things with it. I also like the way they’ve simplified the weapons and ammo upgrades. Also I’m really impressed with Martin Sheens voice acting.
