Just read the reviews. I haven't played a game of that play style since the old "Police Quest" and "Space Quest" days. YES, I'm old. Well, relatively, anyways.
Definitely going to pick this up.

I have really enjoyed the detective aspects so far. Examining and following up on clues, talking to witnesses, interrogation and paying attention to all the nuances involved so you make the correct decisions. The way the game is presented makes you want to take your time with it. The production is top notch. Something much different than anything that is out right now. On the other hand the driving, hand to hand combat and shooting feels similar to that of GTA and Mafia 2.
P.S. Take off hints.

I skimmed through a review last night (skimmed on purpose, as I hate having good parts divulged and what not). Eagerly looking forward to playing this game.

Kids are having fun playing Mario Slugger Baseball on the Wii. I wish they had wii or Kinect when I was a kid. Good thing I can still enjoy these things as an adult!

BTW if you have both consoles(360 & PS3), the PS3 version is the one to get unless you prefer the 360 controller. It will get exclusive content. The blu-ray disk on PS3 is one disk while the xbox 360 version is 3 disks. Performance is on par but the PS3 was the lead developer console. Both versions suffer from minor frame-rate issues.
I am playing on the 360 version and my biggest complaint is the occasional frame rate issue. I might be 15% complete and have had it occur maybe 3 times so far.

I normally get PS3 versions because I prefer the controller over the 360. Although I'm glad the 360 controller was a huge improvement over the original Xbox controller. Man, I hated that controller.

I am considering getting Heavy Rain. Have anyone played that? I know it is now a new game but it looks cool IMO. My wife wants Alice in Wonderland Madness Returns ( I think this is the name of the game ). Well she will have to wait till the release date though.

Haven't played Heavy Rain, Ichigo, but it is one on my wish list. Prices have recently gone down on that game, so it's a good time to try it out. Looks like it's another game that tries something different. I like that. Ha ha, get it and let us know what you think?

I was playing Heavy Rain, and really enjoying it. I was into about a 3 hour session when the March 1st bug struck last year, and lost all my progress during that session, and couldn't play again for 24 hours. I never picked it up again.
I had been planning to once the Move came out, and even bought the controllers specifically for that game. But again, other games attracted my interest more. Still need to go back.
