Checked the HBO site and found that each new episode will premier on Sundays and be shown 4 more times before the following Sunday. Wow! Looks like they are expecting a huge audience, pretty reasonable given how well recieved BOB has been. Looks like I'll have to show up at Charter again with my boxes in tow, drop them on the counter and tell them I'm tired and going to sat. "Wait" unless you can give me a better deal? And then I'll sign up for movie channels again, can ya throw in uping my internet again?

Alas, We have cable but do not subscribe to any of the Premium Channels - I'll be watching for Blu Ray - Gives me something to anticipate.

We have digital cable with Time Warner. In the higher number channels, there are a lot of features, shorts and previews and reruns of current shows. I don't pay much attention to them but my wife surfs through it from time to time. Last night, I happened to mention the Pacific Series. She said, I saw something about that on the 650 channels. So....off we went. There were several shorts including an 8 minute clip of the Airfield scene on one of the Pelileu episodes. I have never been in the military, much less combat but it is obvious that Spielberg/Hanks are striving for as much realism as possible. It was chaotically brutal.

My whole browser freezes up when I try to watch the video. Stupid Flash. EDIT: Here's a direct link to the .mp4 version of the 720p video, for those who want it on their local computer. (I'm not sure how long this link will work.)

WOO HOO! Thanks for the info. Wasn't blown away (no pun intended) by the first episode. Probably excessively high expectations. Wasn't blown away by the first episode of BOB either. However, I certainly enjoyed it. Looking forward to more.

Of course, the "second half of the year" starts July 1, only 11 days after the previously mentioned Father's day release. However, December 31st is also in the "second half of the year."
