The trigger switch would certainly come in handy if you had the amp in a rack. My Rotel 5 channel amp has a trigger switch. It powers on and off when my processor gets turned on and off. And it's power button is on the front! It is a nifty feature, but in my case, certainly not a deal breaker.

BTW...since I know have to try replacing fuses, I'll take some pictures of the inside of the amp for you as well. I got the cover off last night. It's really a clean, straight forward looking beast. I know nothing about how amps work, so I can't say much more than that. I'll let the pictures do the talking when I post them.

Re: your TV. Let me know if you're thinking of getting a Sony. I can offer you up my discount if you find a model you like. Keep it in mind. I just got myself a b-stock DVD player from their ES line that only cost $250, as compaired to over $700 at regular price.

I just got off the phone with Klaus again. He's at a loss for what could be wrong with the right channel.

Get this...he's going to build me a new amp this weekend and ship it out on Monday. I'll return this amp when it arrives.

Bummer that I'll not have my new toy to play with this weekend, but that's pretty cool.

Are you this much of an optimist in all things, or just with audio upgrades?
