fred,
I'm playing as an elven mage and liking it a lot. I keep it on normal most of the time. Played on hard for a little bit but it sure was tricky...

Dragon age has 4 settings:
Casual, Normal, Hard, and Nightmare.
I wouldn't even think of playing it on nightmare... definitely not on my first play through for sure.

I like tricky and don't mind dying a few times to figure something out. I'm struggling with the Desire deamon on the 4th floor of the mages tower right now. I know I could just let it go, but where's the fun in that?

I think my tactic was to barely enter the room and then run away to draw some of the knights out.
I died a bunch there, too.

In fighting games, I often try a full-on Rambo assault first. When that fails, at is usually does, I switch to the divide and conquer method, luring as few enemies at a time toward me as possible.
For games that don't have plentiful health restore methods, I'll default to the more conservative method.

OK, but specifically: Can these methods be applied to Ms. Pac-Man?
Edit: As I think about it, it sounds quite a bit like playing Ms. Pac-Man (if I remember correctly, which is debatable).

Thought I would post a warning about a very poor Kinect game to hopefully save some people some money, the game in question - Game Party in Motion
This game is very poorly designed and has some major sensor issues. During game play with another person the game expects the nonplaying participant to remain in sensor window at all times and pauses the game if the nonplaying person steps outside the game area. This game also appears to have issues with reading the players correctly due to this second player in the window. We even had some issues with the nonplayer causing the playing character to react to his movements and not the participating player.
I thought this game might actually work OK for a single player but it still doesn't pick up the movements correctly, even after numerous sensor recalibrations.

I wondered how well the kinnect would work... Does it generally perform well for other games?

I've heard (from Penny Arcade, and other gamers) that the Kinect just doesn't work. Except for that Dance Central game.
