I bought a pair of natural wood M3 on walls from the Axiom auction site about a month ago. It was weird because I was the only bidder. Hmmm.

When I got them, I realized that they really didn't match my media room so I put them back up for sale but have had Zero offers, emails, anything. They are beautiful speakers and I now have them hanging on my wall just to use them until they sell.

I'm just very frustrated and wonder why there is no other person on the planet who wants/needs a pair of natural wood M3 on walls!!!!!! aaaaaarrrrrggggghhhhhh........... shocked

I have the same problem trying to sell an in/on wall black vp100. I tried here and Craig's List, but no takers. For me, the fact that it's an in-wall product would be a hard sell. And for both of us, it might be the loss of warranty that makes it difficult for someone else to buy it. If the warranties were transferable, that would probably make selling them a little easier. You might have to take a bit of a loss on it, because you got the warranty, but the next person won't.

The key to selling will probably be to keep trying. Just because no one want's one today doesn't mean it won't eventually sell.

Any chance you could do a re-finish on them more to your liking? maybe one of those combined stain/polyurethane finishes(I'm thinking like Polyshades by Minwax)?

Ooh, that would be shame. From what I've heard, Axiom spends a hell of a lot of time doing the finishes on those.

I agree with Cat, it's probably the very specific nature of the things that makes them hard to sell. Not everyone wants to hack holes in their walls.

These are on wall so they hang just like any other wall mounted speaker but yeh, maybe people don't want holes in their walls.

I've hung them up as surrounds for now. I don't want to mess with the finish. It really is a nice finish for the right person, room and setup. smile

What's the exact name of the finish, so people can look it up.

I need them in either white or green to go with the new room I'm working on. I checked it out and that is a nice color finish. I don't know what shipping cost is, but what if you lowered your cost a bit and you agreed to cover shipping (within reasonable distance, or buyer pays the extra) and just keep trying here.

I should do the same with my vp100, but just got a little lazy.
