I watched Serenity about 3 times, and each time it seemed like I was missing something. Googled Serenity and discovered Firefly. I watched Firefly about 5 times. Now it looks I may have to get the blu-ray version of both. I've only had a BD player about a year or less. I hate upgrading my dvds since I have about 300 of them. But if I get the ptae4000u projector, I'll probably have to upgrade the disks I like the most.
Originally I caught part of one episode of “Firefly” and didn’t care for it. Later I saw “Serenity” and went out and bought “Firefly” and watched the whole thing in one sitting. Amazing show!
I’m planning to be very selective about what I upgrade. Only the stuff I really like to watch and that shows a marked improvement over the SD version. Ok who am I kidding I also didn’t plan on putting 200 hours on my projector in the first month. For now I’m using strategery and ordering up 3-4 Blu-rays from Netflix each weekend. So far the only ones I’ve bought are: Serenity, Blade Runner, 2001, Close Encounters, Star Trek, The Fifth Element (trend?) and Patton. Everything other Blu-ray I’ve watched has been rented.
Because you liked it so much, or for some other reason?
Easy for me to answer…Summer Glau!
