I use a punch when the nail gets close to the trim. My problem is 1) missing the nail and hitting the wood. 2) bending the nail and having to constantly re-straighten it. 3) Getting it close to the wood, then having it bend over where it's too short to straighten, so I drive it in the best I can with a punch, leaving a bigger hole.

Grrrr.

You need more hammer practice.

If I tried what this guy is doing, I'd have to repair more than just the trim.

The 3 M22 speakers that will go across the top of my new TV are on Fedex truck for delivery.

One more step done in getting my living room HT #3 completed.

Checking online, I just noticed that the Panasonic 65 inch VT50 TV's are in the Magnolia stores in my area. 3 more weeks to get the money I need for it ought to do it.

And the 3 M22's are in my car.

Went over finances and it looks like I'll be getting the 65 inch Panasonic VT50 this weekend. grin

But may be a couple of weeks or so before I have everything mounted on the wall.
