DE:HR is on my to-buy list. I really loved the original and I know I'll be completely addicted to it (just as I was recently addicted to Assassin's Creed II) I'm cheap when it comes to computer games, so I'm just waiting for the price to come down.

Still getting my MMO fix. Now with Guild Wars II. It's kind of like the new iPhone. It's new and improved so everyone has to have it but it is nothing that will shake up the MMO market, which seems to seriously need a new innovation.
Still, a fun diversion. I like the combat system. You get different skills by swapping and combining weapon sets so it feels more like your weapon choice matters. I like the cooperative attacks too, although many games have this now. For instance, my mage buddy creates a wall of fire and the enemy can't easily get to us. My ranger fires arrows through the wall of fire and they are lit up as they pass through it, greatly increasing the damage.
Good personal storylines but the cut scenes are an embarrassment. It switches to a static background scene with just two characters on the screen at a time talking. Always only two. If someone else in the area speaks, one character disappears to be replaced by the image of the other. Simply LAZY CODING. Cheapens the game back to 1980 standards.

Yeah, I know it's ancient, but I got LEGO Star Wars for the Wii last week and have been enjoying it with my 7 year old son. Fun stuff, good times.

I'm cheap when it comes to computer games, so I'm just waiting for the price to come down. Here ya go . On sale at Amazon for only $13.50. Right now there's 11 left in stock... Thanks, Cam, but I haven't had dual-boot set up on my Mac for a long time. The Mac version is still stuck at $50.

Still getting my MMO fix. Now with Guild Wars II. Andrew, check this out, it's REALLY cool. It gives you "Weyandt's Revenge Achievement". It blows me away how people find this stuff. I know at least one other achievement like this. If you want the video, let me know, and I'll search for it on Jesse's channel.

Thanks Cam! It's the exploration part of these games I really enjoy. Well, that and laughing at how badly me and my buddies can mess up on quests and dungeon runs.
Pretty long video but I'm adventuring in that zone now so I'm definitely going to check it out. I noticed the guy is hopper though. I hate hoppers!!! LOL!

Actually this is a question about What Video Game Should I Be Playing?
I will likely have the next two weeks off from work so it would be the perfect time to play something new, though I might replay something if I can’t find anything of interest.
Here are the recent games I’ve liked a lot (enough to play more than once) :
Skyrim- vast, non-linear, multi-faceted, graphics, immersive
Mass Effect – storyline, character interaction, graphics, immersive
Dragon Quest – characters, party system
Things I like the most are: Immersiveness Escapism like SciFi/Fantasy/non-contemporary Non-linear gameplay Interesting NPC interaction Variety of character choices
Things I don’t like: The opposite of what’s above (though I can forgive some faults for excellence otherwise) Twitch fests (can’t stand button mashing) Complex controls without onscreen menus (I hate having to reference instructions during gameplay)
Any recommendations are welcome even older games.
