The VP180 is something like 19 inches deep with just about all the weight on the front. I can't imagine there is any bracket (at least not one that attached to the back) that would make wall mounting one a good idea.

I'm about ready to put the Axiom bracket in a vise and take my dremel with a grindstone to it and try to remove the teeth that limits the bracket to lock into certain positions. This might be easier than it sounds. (Hopefully).

A day in the Life of Brian. I may have the only Chrysler Cirrus that has gone this far.

Twa-la. Modified bracket success. Now I've got to order another one so I can mount the 2 new M22's when they arrive.

Only had to modify one side. No need to remove the teeth from the other side.

I'll probably have to make sure the screw that holds these 2 parts together are extra tight so they don't vibrate loose over time and move on me.

I always liked the Cirrus. I remember when it was launching new. If I remember correctly, 164hp and a double wishbone suspension.

I don't know about either one of those, but it still has a lot of get-up-and-go when you tromp it. Leaks oil pretty bad and burns it too, so I change the oil every 6 weeks and use 2 quarts of Lucas oil treatment when I do.

I just spent the equivalent of 2 M22's and 1 wall mounting bracket to have the rear brakes and front end repaired. That's funny because I also just bought 2 M22's and 1 wall mounting bracket.

Brian, our currency is still based on the dollar, not the "M."

re: your Life of Brian. I've seen the movie and it doesn't end well for the title character. Careful.

Brain, my 86-year old Dad's podiatrist used all the same tools!

You forgot to mention the pliers, sharp knife, and shears. My first experience with a podiatrist was for in-grown toe nails at the age of 12(?), with no anesthesia. My dad was having one of his bad days and trying to save money. Yeow!

A few months later it all grew back and we did it the right way. Back then, it included a 5 day stay in the hospital.

I asked you to be careful, Brian. JP HATES photos of speedometers! (kinda like M. Emmett Walsh hated oil cans in The Jerk.) Remember what happened the last time we saw a speedometer here?!?
