I'm going to be watching the second episode of HBO's new show, The Newsroom, written by Arron Sorkin (I'm a sucker for his dialog). The first episode was great. My biggest problem is after watching it I wished there was an actual news program that had the integrity of what the characters on the show are trying to build. My hope is the show becomes a hit, and real news shows take the hint, but I'm not holding my breath.

For the french speaking people on this forum;

if you haven't seen it, there's an excellent french tv series named: Un village Français.
it is a 5 season series, the fifth and last to come next spring (2013);
one season for each year of the German occupation in a small town in France, with all the inherent problems.

a must see.
