But before I put too much thought into that, I really need to save for a new display. So far I'm leaning toward a 65" plasma. I'm waiting for laser projectors to reach affordability for me before I get a projector, but the warranty is out on my Sony, finally, and I'm getting some color splotches. They're not noticeable when playing movies, but they can be a slight annoyance in more static screens. In any case, I don't want to be without a display when this one bites the dust, and I have to get one at least a little bigger, so 65" plasma feels about right. Also, wall-mounting the display and moving my gear off to the side will be better for the LFR1100s. So I guess I need to pinch my pennies again for a while. Why do I make my life so difficult?

Why do I make my life so difficult? It's not you that makes life difficult, it's Murphy's law... He he messes with everyones life, right when you think you got it.. He comes in and messes with something... I wonder if this means that there will be a new Onkyo/integra processor coming in the near future... I called Integra, they said they though it would be about another year.....

Charles, you need your own thread. Cat has one. So does JP and Bob. You can call yours "I'm going to buy enough sh*t to make you all jealous".

For some reason high end and Onkyo don't really fit in the same sentence. As for the Integra, why would you spend more more for essentially the same thing. They use the exact same parts.

Except to run 4ohm speakers, mind you it was shutting down because I did have it cranked up quite loud. Now I can crank up it up as loud as I like with the outlaw monos.

I might have to get one of these too, to go with my new theater.
But for now the temperatures need to drop, so I can continue deconstruction, before I can even get to the construction phase.
I'm trying to get my employer to become a dealer for Integra/Onkyo Pro.

Charles, it's unlikely that all four of the .1 outputs can be independently calibrated. The release doesn't discuss the matter, but (hopefully) the new manuals will clarify the point. Looking at the back of the 3010 here , it can be seen that the four sub outs are grouped as SW1 and SW2 pairs. Onkyo terminology uses 1 and 2 to indicate independent calibration between those numbered outputs. The pairing(no 3 and 4)would indicate that the second output in each pair is simply a parallel "Y" connection. So, the net result appears to be that the pairs can be independently calibrated by the receiver, but not the individual members of each pair.
