Someone suggested I stuff a sock (or something) in the ports of the 3 upper M22's to dampen the bass. You know that's such a stupid sounding idea, but it just might work. I'll have to give it a go, then recalibrate, and see how it sounds.
So far, I'm liking the results of Pioneer's MCACC a whole lot better then Denon's Audyssey. It always sounded good with MCACC, not so with Audyssey, so far, but maybe I've gone beyond Audyssey's (and MCACC's) ability to handle it with my particular speaker arrangement. The funny part is, when I turn Audyssey off, I couldn't hear a difference.

Were they being that specific? Or did they just say "Stuff a sock in it" and you assumed they were talking about your sub port?

[/quote/] CatBrat, don't just add any old sock too block the ports, but rather use knee high ones because it has more material to work with. Oh and make sure it's a dirty sock as well, it will help to lesson air filtration through the pores of the the sock.

Cat, the install looks really nice. The black/silver against red looks sweet.
I still think you're overdoing it on the fronts, but hell, if it makes you happy, more power to you.

I guess I'm really overdoing it with LFRs and M80s then....Not! Looks good Brian, I guess you don't need an EP500 now.

That is one major setup Cat. Nice to see it all has finally come together. You certainly worked hard at it.

For the amount of speakers you have there, it looks pretty damn orderly. Are you considering getting the bottom M22s up off the floor so so their tweeters are at the same height as the VP160?
