But then again, lot of people are "content" with TV speakers. So I suppose anything will sound better to them. After all, how many of us here heard the "why can't I just turn on the TV and watch it? Do I have to turn all this other stuff on???" Thank goodness for a good URC remote!

Many of these same people will go to a movie theater spend big bucks and sit there thinking to themselves, "geez, I wish I could get this same movie experience at home"!

I much prefer the movie experience of my setup over that of most theaters.

Update. His installer came back to listen to them and agreed the StudWoofers sounded terrible. Apparently he was very apologetic. He removed them, patched the drywall and will be back to sand and paint when the seam fill dries. He refunded the list price of the subs. The owner is unsure what he will replace them with as his budget is small but they won't be in-wall.
I suspect he lost a few dollars as I'm sure that in the total package, which wasn't line itemed to begin with, the installer had some markup on the subs. Still, it could have gone a lot worse so he is pretty happy.

I am so grateful my wife is picky about aesthetics, I would hate it if I had to get some crappy in wall system or worse the Bose system with those cute little speakers.
