Jack,
I have two words for you STEEL - ERS!!!
It's been a dry spell for the last 2-3 years and it's nice to see them back to playing Steeler football. I'm not expecting them to get to the level of the 70s Steelers (who could?), but they have some speed on defense, (finally) a defensive backfield and it looks like Ben is the real deal at QB. It all makes winter more enjoyable.
It was nice to see them handle the Patriots as well as they did. While much was made of the Patriot injuries, no one mentioned the Steelers were playing without 2 defensive starters and the right OG is out for the season. Good stuff.

Well that says a lot about the intelligence of black and yellow fans, doesn't it?
And, keep in mind that your quarterback (if you think I'm gonna try to spell THAT name, you're nuts) came from an OHIO university.

...wait a minute, were they not lauded for their roster depth?
The media (and I think 2x6spds will have a say on journalistic integrity) proclaimed them a great team because of the dpth they assembled

i had to bump this. it was getting too far down the list.
my high school team(san angelo central bobcats),won last night 45-21 against a lubbock team that was 8-1 coming into the game. the victory assured them the #2 seed in their district and a playoff game next week in el paso. we had a very good crowd last night(about 8-10 thousand), and they were very loud. it was a do or die game for the bobcats and they pulled out the much needed win.
there are some great NFL games i am looking forward to this weekend. philly at pittsburgh, patriots at rams, new orleans at san diego, and of course, cowboys at cinci. i am picking the steelers to upset again. they better ride the 'big ben' wave as long as possible.

Looks like we have a new best team in football. This town is so electric when the Steelers are kicking butt.
