Hi Ian,

I just got my M80, VP150 and QS8 this weekend, the M80s look great in Boston Cherry.

I had Polk RT12s (8ohm I believe) and just swapped them out for the M80s. Will the volume on my receiver have to be higher to produce the same sound levels or is it since they are not broken in yet that they do not produce the same volume of sound?

thx

It is more likely that the RT12's are more sensitive than the M80s. Lower impedance does not necessarily equate to higher sensitivity.
