#700 - 12/29/01 01:17 PM HT wizard / ohms

When using the Home Theater Wizard on the site, and specifying 8+ ohms as my minimum, I'm still recommended center and surround speakers (the VP150 and QS-8, respectively) that are 4 ohms. Is this a bug, or will these "secondary" speakers reliably work with a receiver with an 8 ohm minimum?

Thanks in advance,

matt

The Wizard is correct. The QS8s and VP150 will work reliably with an 8-ohm receiver because of where the minimum impedance is located on the frequency response.
