Hi all:

I need some suggestions regarding speaker wire. I am ready to run wire to the patio speaker location but am not sure what type of wire to use or if there is wire certified for outdoor use. Here's the setup so far.

From the 3805 I have wire running to a wall plate with posts. From the plate, I plan on running wire through the wall to the outside and into conduit all the way to the speakers. Total length is near 60'.

What kind of wire should I use and should the conduit be pvc or metal?

Thanks,
John

I used pvc for my outdoor electrical lines, just make sure you do a diagram of it's location so you can find it again. No sense going back three years later and trying to plant a tree on the same spot .
