Im looking at these two recievers to go with my Mti 60's. was woundering if anyone had used them and what they thought.

i think those are dang near identical units, other than the fact the 5860 has a tad bit more watts per channel, and maybe a few more inputs.

yamaha makes great receivers, i reckon both of those will get the job done. although, i have no direct experience with either of them.

what about for the m80's?

I've gotten the impression so far that the yammie's don't handle 4 ohms very well.

With the new 4600 coming out this month, I'm hoping that will do 4 ohms ok.

That's correct. You'd be better served with an H/K or Denon.
