I played it on the medium setting. If I try it again, I'll try it on "hard". The Hangymen will be EXTREMELY difficult for me as I can't move and shoot at the same time, and they're very quick.

I am back into dark souls again. I never did beat it before I moved onto something else. I played a lot this weekend and am now up to soul level 75. I just beat anor londo.

This game is tough!

Still playing dark souls. Up to soul level 107 now! I've been getting after it! Nearing the end of the game now. I've been soul farming and upgrading items, working up my stats, etc. I can do about 1000 damage with my crystal soul spear spell ( using 2 magic boosting items- a ring and a crown).

I love these series of games. Glad you didn't totally give up, David, and have gotten back into playing.

Shoot, for the life of me I can't remember what level I ended up on, but, however high I got it never felt like enough.

Yeah, I'm close to the end now but am enjoying grinding up higher to improve my stats. Probably time to beat it now!

I finally beat dark souls tonight. Thinking about playing through again on new game plus mode with even harder difficulty! I was soul level 118 when i finished.

I ended up buying monster hunter 3 ultimate for wii u on amazon for $42 (used). I'm just getting into the swing of things. The main point of the game is to kill big monsters, take body parts from them, craft new weapons and armor with said parts, then head out to kill even bigger monsters. There is a lot of item farming, crafting, and ingredient picking too.

I'm about 10 hours in and it seems like the type of game you can play for a long time and still not feel strong enough. Fun so far. 8/10 for me.
