Hi Stephane:
Love the look of the room. The custom rack looks good.

Thanks AVI.. I put that rack together myself.. A buddy of mine owns a Granite shop, so he made me 4 shelves with the holes in them and I got the SS Rods from a local store.. It wasn't cheap, but a lot cheaper than bying it from a store / online already made that's for sure.

That's a lot of fun stuff there. I would love to hear your system.
I have that Master Chief helmet, too.

Thanks CV,
I feel that I'm getting there in terms of sound quality..The Veritas are great speakers, but extremely picky in their placement. I know I have good gear, but my room is "robbing" me of the best possible sound.. so I'm looking into acoustic treatement options now. Also, I will be adding an Axiom EP500 sub in about a month and configure my system with both subs.

Very nice setup. I wanted to hear the Veritas before I bought my Axiom's but wasn't able to find any. Sad, since I live about 20 miles from Energy's headquarters...ah well, maybe Klipsch stopped them from making better speakers than their own, I dunno.

Yes, I think since Klipsh group bought out API Group, the Energy line has suffered somewhat. Paradigm went their own way before API was bought out, don't know what happenned to Mirage ?
On my recommendation, my cousin will be purchasing an Epic 80-500 in a few weeks so I am very curious to hear the differences between my Veritas 2.3s and the M80s.

Mirage? another speaker I couldn't find(OMD-15 and 28) and they're another locally based company. The only speakers of theirs I could find were at 2001 Audio Video and were entry level Omni series Mirages. I'm still curious to hear some OMD-28's, just to see what some good Omni-directional speakers sound like, I've only heard the entry level ones(Omni Nanosats) and at very modest spl but they sounded quite detailed on the jazz music they were playing.
A couple of former Mirage dealers told me that the Klipsch group was moving them "down market" so I guess that more than likely pulled the plug on the OMD 15/28 series, a shame.
Speaking of your Veritas being difficult to set up "just right", I'll bet the Mirages would be more so, as they are very integral to their surroundings.
