Description
My weekend project converting TV Room into a movie room with Epson 8350 projector.

It was a toss up to replace the trusty 50" Hitachi with either a 60" LED 1080p TV or a projector. The projector option won and I'm really happy with the result.
Total cost for all - projector and mount, cables, paint, component stand, curtains and hardware - $1917.32

Moving the VP180 down to the same level as the mains created major improvement in soundstage and the front curtains helped to dampen reflections of light and sound. Whether watching movies or simply listening to great music the sound envelops you.

Sweet cheeses! Look at the size of that VP180! I think it just probably crushed your Hitachi and you don't want to admit it.

Looks great!

Tell me more about the black rectangle on the ceiling?

That's an amazing transformation on that budget. What projector did you get.

Oh, looks really good!

I did not need a mental picture of a drunk and passed out CatBrat, stuck in a cat.
