Wow, 21. Congrats!!
I turned legal when I was 18. It was the last year before the required age turned to 19. Kinda took the fun out of drinking. Except for when we ran off shine. That brought back the good ol' rebellious spirit again.

Not that I encourage such behavior! Much.

I'm surprised nobody has recommended an exquisite craft beer yet.

If you like the dark stuff, there's something to be said for a nice pint of draft (or is that draught) Guinness Stout.

If you like sweet drinks then you might like White Russians or Black Russians, made with coffee liqueur.

I like white russians! My grandma would make me little ones (without vodka). Loved it.

Or you could do what I did--although it's undoubtedly too late to start and survive--the alphabet.

We did half shots of drinks for every letter of the alphabet, over about 8 hours or more. Whee!

Top Shelf Margarita was fantastic. I was buzzed out of my mind after I had one, but it was VERY good.

Tried Guiness, had a pint of Dos Eques, then some drunk guy gave me coors light. I liked Coors the best.

To finish things off was a white russian.
