Actually, this is probably old news if you live in Houston but interesting for the rest of us....

What if there was a new invasive species of ant that was attracted to electronics for some, yet unknown, reason?

What if they keep multiple queens so thier nest is almost impossible to eradicate?

What if they were immune to most insecticides?

And what if..... when you do kill them, they actually pile up their dead to make bridges over insecticide covered areas?????

Sound like Sci-Fi or Stephen King?

Thanks for the link. I have seen several stories about them and they are found in areas very close to my house (I am near JSC). I have not seen them in my yard yet, but it only seems like a matter of time. I hope that something is developed soon to get rid of them or I might have to get a pet anteater!

Man, I'd love to have a pet anteater. Go outside, boy, eat all the ants!
