I'm an avid reader of MaximumPC.
The September issue has an article for their 2008 Dream Machine where they build a computer, no holds barred for price and performance once a year.
This year the Axiom Audiobytes made the cut for the premier speaker system for the rig and are on their Best of the Best list for 2.1 sound.

Ken, I'm reminded of a greeting card I once signed for a coworker - although it certainly could have been directed at me, as well. If I could find the cartoon, I'd link to it.

There's a close-up view of a man's scalp, and one hair has a helmet on and is addressing the others: "Men, I want you to know that some of you are not going to make it through the next shower. Those that do, I'm ordering you to redeploy to the back."
