The company I work for has about 12,000 employees here in Des Moines. Everyday there is a random poll, some fun, some boring. Today it is about the election and who you are voting for since Obama is talking right now a few blocks away...
So far after 4589 votes:
McCain 2045
Obama 2048
Other 85
Undecided 295
I don't plan to vote 116
It is interesting watching the back/forth war...
Have you yelled "WTF are you thinking?!" at the people who are either undecided or not voting?
wow, 3 votes difference!
Who is undecided at this point?!
Ditto what P said.
It is interesting as McCain was down a couple of hundred a few hours ago.
Current stats:
McCain 2123
Obama 2121
Other 89
Undecided 301
I don't plan to vote 120

I'm just glad that the horrible, unintelligable echoing noise is done. We have our windows open in the office (1 block away from the outside rally) and you couldn't understand anything Barack or the others were saying. It was just loud with a lot of echo off of the buildings. I think that they needed some first reflection point panels, and maybe some bass traps... We opted to go across town for lunch to get away, and we just got back and it is nice and quiet again...
This reminds of the halloween parade at my kid's school today.
One of the 2nd graders had on his Obama costume, hilarious. Even more funny was the kid walking w/ him dressed as Hilary. She even wore a sign saying "I am Hilary Clinton and I approve this message."
Update from the PorterPoll
McCain 2402
Obama 2409
Other 97
Undecided 320
I don't plan to vote 127

While on the subject, I see that Florida's dangling chad dilemma isn't quite over with yet....

A nudist community on Florida’s west coast wants to be allowed a clothing-optional polling site.
The Caliente Resorts, located in Pasco County north of Tampa, has approached election officials about the idea.
Nothing in state law would prohibit it, but the supervisor of elections says he is opposed to creating any new precincts before redistricting in 2010.<<<<<Where are they going to stick their 'I Voted' stickers?
And yet they want a secret ballot... Do they have something to hide or not?
