Sean,

May your day be full of green beers!
Drink one for each of your years.
Chase them with whiskey
And you'll start to feel frisky.
Just don't show the pics to your peers.

Happy Birthday, Sean. Do something a man of your age would do, then report back.

Sean, Peter has come a bit prematurely with this, more so since most of Arizona doesn't "spring forward", but Happy Birthday!

Hey, I see a cake, I post a birthday wish. Unless a meeting is involved, all time on the internet is local time. \:\)

I wonder if anyone told Sean that, since it does mess with a few transplants ;\) every year.

Happy Birthday Sean!

How’s Glendale treating you so far? I live Phoenix (for 2 more weeks) but if I throw a rock real hard I can hit Glendale.

Cheers,
Dean

I hear ya on the ol' "hard to go to work on the birthday" thing.

Time for Sean to call in sick!

Just tell 'em you had Hot Pockets for breakfast. They'll understand. If not, send 'em this link and tell them to check out 3:13...

Happy anniversary of your entering this world.

I had planned an interpretive dance around the event, but Medic8r refused to play the obstetrician.

For the longest time, I read that as pay the obstetrician.

Hey, Sean, how's that "workin' on your birthday" workin' out?!

Happy Birthday Sean.

Happy birthday, Sean! Man, you chose the wrong holiday. Should have chosen one with a guaranteed day off or something.
Posted By: St_PatGuy Re: Happy St_PatGuy Day! - 03/18/09 01:59 AM
Thanks for all the wishes guys! Looks like I missed a good day in the Shout Box. Funny stuff!! \:D

It's been a good birthday. As some of you know, I recently moved from Southern California to Arizona for work. Finally feel like I'm settling in here. Only have a couple boxes of junk to unpack, but I'm getting there. This is the first place I've had all to myself and it's been a lot of fun putting it together and buying exactly what I want. Granted, it's only an apartment, but, still, it's MY place. With the economy being what it is, I thought I'd give it another year before I start seriously looking for a house. Give me some time to feel out the new state and maybe gauge how business is going to be.

Speaking of which, work has been absolutely killing me. Too much to do, but I guess that's a good thing. Means I still have a job and I'm not twiddling my thumbs waiting for stuff to do. Feel like a zombie by the time I get home.

My parents drove out here for a mini vacation. Just had dinner with them. It's been nice visiting with them the past couple of days. They gave me a digital picture frame and loaded it up with family pics. Very nice gift. My sister even included a close up picture of a potato bug. Thanks, sis, very funny. "Let's see, this is my Uncle Tom, there's Aunt Francis, here's everyone hanging out at the pool, a potato bug, a cute pic of my niece in her Cinderella costume. . ."

Speaking of my sister, she just had an appendectomy last Thursday night, but she's doing good and recovering. Little bit scary, though.

All in all, things are going good. My birthday kinda crept up on me this year. Been so busy with things I never bothered to think about it. Maybe that means I'm just getting old? \:\(

I guess that means I can start being cranky? (when I'm not taking naps, that is.)

p.s. the Hot Pocket bit was hilarious!

Hey, Sean, how's that "workin' on your birthday" workin' out?!

Even though I'm at a new office with new people, I still got a treat of homemade cupcakes. One of the ladies brought them in for me. Very nice of her. Also got treated to lunch, as well.

So, I guess the workin' on my birthday thing wasn't too bad after all!

An appendectomy is the most major thing I've had done, so I feel her pain. I just remember being completely miserable in the ER, and throwing up when they were trying to do a scan on me, and signing the consent to treatment without reading it because I just wanted the pain to stop. The next thing I knew I was in a hospital bed, post-surgery. It took a while to stop feeling feeble.

Sean, my wife and I celebrated by splitting four draught cans of Guinness and having Bailey's flavor Haagen Dazs ice cream sandwiches while watching Zach and Miri Make a Porno.

Good times. \:\)
Posted By: St_PatGuy Re: Happy St_PatGuy Day! - 03/18/09 01:23 PM
That Bailey's ice cream is the BEST!!

Good times, indeed.
Posted By: medic8r Re: Happy St_PatGuy Day! - 03/18/09 01:38 PM
Now I have a new ice cream to try! I like Bailey's a lot, and mudslides are one of my favorite drinks/desserts.

Sean, here's a little post-SP Day humor for ya!
