Thinking of replacing my Marantz mm9000 with Outlaw 7500 to drive my M80 main, V150 center and m40 surround, what do you guys think.

So... it seems as though you're VERY interested in replacing that Marantz. Did we sway you from the Earthquake Cinenova? Methinks I sense a little upgrade-itus happenin here. My opinion... you've got a quality amp right now... you'll hear very little (perceived) to no difference with the Outlaw. Stick with what you have.

Earthquake was out of the loop because fo its size. Upgradeitus has been hitting me so bad since I got my tax refund.

I think the Outlaw 7500 would be a good choice, I'm using an amp with the same power output as the 7500 and am very happy with it.

I am becoming a fan of both of these brands. I estimate their reputations as roughly equal, but more importantly, I've not heard either piece you are considering, so my 2c are probably more like 1c.

I see that the Marantz has THX Ultra, so I too question whether this would be a true upgrade.

Of course, the Outlaw 30 day home trial means you have nothing to lose except return shipping costs if you want to audition the 7500...

Outlaw is on my short list for amps, but I am going to wait a while and see what evolves to the marketplace, unless there is a deal that I just can't refuse.

The 3 channel Monster amps are currently heavily discounted and if the price goes a couple hundred lower, I may have to consider one of those.
