Hi, what is the difference between the 2 series? is it internal parts? they look the same, but are they the same? if not why the rebranding?

This has been discussed tons of times, try searching.

I have searched but haven't found treads regarding this. I'll try again.

To be fair, it would be difficult to search on this topic. That said, I'm tired of explaining it.

Search tip: check the dates you are searching on. The default is to only search in the previous week.

In a nutshell: There's been a series of changes made over the years. Enough were made that Axiom decided to change the moniker. There are changes to crossover, binding posts, and cabinet shape, which were all made at different times. There's not enough of a difference to warrant upgrading, in my opinion.

Sorry Rome if I sounded short tempered, I've been around Ken to much. \:\)

As Ken mentioned, many changes happened over a long period of time. The drivers have been moved around, different binding posts, cabinet shape, etc. Also, I think the frequency response graph changed slightly on a few models, possibly because of the slight changes made to the internal crossover.

In other words, there have been no drastic changes, they still all sound awesome...

You had a kid because you've been hanging around Ken too much?

I need to interview Randy and Ken ASAP; I may have the makings of a whizzbang journal article here.

"The Whizzbang Journal"? Sounds more like a urologist's periodical than a headshrinker's.

If not urological, then at least a certain segment of adult entertainment.

Like a posting by all the world's wittiest halfwits in a row.

Although Medic8r, if you have some phrenology experience, I'm still sure I must be at least a 17/31sts wit.
