The Axiom In-Wall audio speaker models can be installed on an exterior cold wall without any negative effects which could alter its performance or its integrity.

You should be careful at keeping the vapour barrier intact and at avoiding compression of the insulation material. Remove some insulation material if needed. There is no risk of fire hazard.

What extra considerations are needed when installing an in-wall speaker into an external wall with insulation and vapor barrier etc. Is it possible to do or should you just mount on-wall? Does the insulation cause any issues such as being a fire hazard, damage to the speaker or changing the performance of the speaker?
