Holler's Home Cinema
This is my family's home theater - M22s and VP150 for the front sound stage. Will eventually upgrade to QS8s and possibly M60s, though the M22s can definitely hold their own! We have a pair of M80s upstairs for a 2ch stereo set up which also sound amazing, but unfortunately, they do not match the color scheme of the basement theater (Boston Cherry), nor is my receiver powerful enough to run them efficiently Thanks for all the help, this forum was a valuable tool and looking at other people's theaters was definitely an inspiration to help put together my own!

Sweet setup you have there and it sounds like you are enjoying it. I agree that QS8s will be a great addition. The room looks very nice and that's a great color of blue.

Sweet setup! I can't tell, but it looks like you have a very refletive floor? You might want to try puting some throw rugs or remnants between you and the speakers to get a more detailed and less skewed sound.

Thanks for the tip Quack, I'll try it out, the floor is a rather thin, patterned, carpet.
Klugger, the height is about 18 inches.

Nice theatre. I'd recommend covering the floor with a dark area rug and painting the ceiling a darker colour. You'd be surprised how much better it would make your picture look.

I love that color blue. Is the room pre-wired for the surrounds already?

Very nice look. Very clean and uncluttered. What's your ceiling height, both regular ceiling and the soffit? Any issues in that regard with the riser? Just curious because I'll be dealing with a 7' ceiling if and when I ever get my project off the ground.

The dimensions of the room are approximately: 31'x14'x7'. The soffit is about another 6" drop. Sometimes we get people bumping their head on the soffit ;-)
