HG Rosewoods Part 3
Another upgrade. Axiom has a new Rosewood so I've upgraded my speakers at the same time as changing the finish. The only speakers that I have now from my original system are my 2 M80's serving duties as my A side surrounds.
So now my system is composed of:
Fronts: LFR's V3 (can be classified as V4) Center: VP180 V4 Side surrounds: A - M80's V2 B - QS8's V4 Rear surrounds: QS8's V4 Front Subwoofers: EP800's V4 Rear Subwoofer: EP500 V4
Powering 1 LFR and the VP180: Axiom ADA1500-8 Powering 1 LFR and 1 rear surround: Axiom A1400-8 Powering the rest of the surrounds: Denon POA-A1HDCI Pre Pro: Denon AVP-A1HDCI Monitor: 60" Pioneer Kuro PRO-141FD Universal player: OPPO BDP-83 Telus Optic TV Apple TV
Shoot me if I think about any more upgrades. I've also got to think about what I should do with my M80's. Upgrade, leave them as is or get rid of them.
Mel

Why do you have your LFR's connected to separate amps? I've got the amps so why not use them? I was planning to upgrade my A1400 to the ADA1500 and at the last moment decided to keep the A1400 "just in case".

I was just curious, though maybe you had unique reason or expectation for trying it this way.

Wow, Mel.
So, you're running 9.3? Yes Tom, I made the leap to 9. I kind of had room for the ninth.
